Energetic influences in Wimbledon

Hey! What a great networking lunch today in Wimbledon, hosted by Teresa Leong – the sun was out in all her glory, and all the attendees were on sparkling form feeling very energised by the wonderful weather.

It was great to meet some new faces and friends, giving a very warm welcome to Michela Milazzo of Qi Investment, although probably not as warm as her investment properties in the Caribbean!

Fiona (Coppard – Electra Jewellery) brought along a few select items from her gorgeous range of bags and accessories, two handbags snaffled up before she even had time to get them fully out of her case!!

With Mothers Day in mind, I’d also brought along a few old favourites from Holistic Feathers as gift ideas and handed out sample pots of Raw Gaia’s raw chocolate face mask *yummmieeee*

Teresa was on top form, sharing her vision for her Wimbledon group and we have some exciting news about our plans to celebrate 1230 TWC Wimbledon’s 1st birthday next month … so put Monday 20th April in your diary and make sure you come along to share the birthday celebrations in style!

Visualise to Materialise

I have just embarked on an exciting inner journey and will be blogging my progress over the next four weeks.

Yesterday I had my first Vision Board session with member Susie Jeffries. The session started with a very relaxing meditation in which I was encouraged to leave any issues outside and focus on what I wanted to bring into my life. I pictured my board and soon found that at the centre of that was my need for harmony, health and wellbeing in my life.

One by one, three corners emerged on the board:
My work and purpose
My relationship with my husband
My family & friends
For a while the fourth corner was empty ~ I stayed with that and thought… perhaps I will discover here what that will be

Minutes later whilst still meditating it appeared ~ it was the ‘me’ corner, importantly, what recharged my batteries in order to give to the other corners

Moving on in the session I started to sketch out my vision onto paper and saw how intentions start to crystalize once expressed. It was very interesting to see how areas flowed from one to another.

I needed guidance on one section of my board and used the angel cards that Susie had laid out for this. The first card I picked gave me insight into something that was blocking me and needed letting go of. The second card I drew from another pack gave me the answer I needed !

My homework is to find pictures and words to personalise my board.

When I left, Susie told me to look out for events and happenings this week.

When I got home I had two invitations of work at well-being events. During my acupunture session later that afternoon. I also had a very important message from Judy Bowen-Jones in terms of looking after myself.

Double Bill

We were fortunate in having two guest speakers at the East Grinstead Meeting today:
Catherine Nardiello ~ International Concert Pianist ~ gave a talk in celebration of International Women’s Day. We learnt about the history of women composers and Catherine had autographed CDs of her music for sale.

Hearing about the group and knowing that she would be performing in the area,Catherine contacted me last August requesting that she come to talk to us.

One of our members, Hazel Harris of Hazel Harris Image Consultancy, was there with her latest Miss Captain collection. It was lovely to be looking at Spring/Summer clothes to put us in the mood for warmer days ahead. Hazel has a special offer running for members who book parties within the next 48hrs

Prizes for the business card draw, were kindly donated by Catherine Nardiello and member Fiona Coppard. I also donated a free Reiki/NLP session

All in all a lively and varied meeting with lots of quality networking taking place

Do something for fun!

I had a fantastic day yesterday. I went up to London to a recording session with my friend Emma and her sister Megan. Emma is getting married on Saturday and wanted to record her first dance. Crazy!
A singing teacher I know, Duncan Rutherford, arranged a recording session for us. I had such fun and haven’t laughed so much on ages. It was a real tonic to go and do something I have never done before and be surrounded by wonderful people. What a day out from the everyday stresses and strains.I am going to talk to Duncan about offering some sessions on our stress workshops at Keston Natural Health Practice. Come along and see how much good it will do you!

1230 meeting

I went to the 1230 Chislehurst meeting today and met some fantastic women. Louise and I at Keston Natural Health think we’ve got some great ideas to offer our clients but it really is amazing to hear about the innovative and creative ideas that the other members have!
