Thank you so much Jackie, you made myself and everyone else feel so comfortable and welcome, the 2 hour slot went very quickly. It was great fun, I really enjoyed myself and it did feel like we were all justsitting having a coffee and a chat. Great to meet the others and hear about there day to day and what goes on for them. Thank you again.
Best wishes   Jools xx

Jools Owen – Logical Heating Plumbing Solutions Ltd

A fantastic, memorable experience I will never forget. Jackie made us feel very relaxed and helped us  engage for the full two hours. We all felt we could contribute and were able to talk about what really
mattered to us. The time just flew by, we all had so much fun, a very big thank you.

Jeff Hawthorne  – Kent Workplace Mission, Christ Church and St Paul’s Anerley

Thank you, Jackie, for having me on the 1230 Business Beat this week. It was a pleasure to share the stories behind The Why Not Me? Reset and my 21-Day Guided Reset to Stop Overthinking. You made the conversation feel relaxed, natural and genuinely enjoyable. I really appreciated the opportunity and hope our discussion resonated with your listeners. I’d love the opportunity to continue the conversation with you and your listeners again in the future.

Christie Bodington – The Achemey of HER

The radio show with Jackie was a great experience for me personally, as I would quite like to go into journalism in the future and being able to talk on a radio show gave me an idea of one of the many forms of journalism. The radio show itself was very fun and Jackie was very warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed our conversation.

Amelia Wright – Work Experience Student, Life in Magazines

Brilliant experience everyone there was super friendly.

Zac Butcher – Work Experience Student, Life in Magazines

Thank you Jackie for the opportunity to be on the radio show. I really enjoyed our different conversations on topics such as AI business tips and music. The experience allowed me to understand what goes on behind the scenes of a radio show and what makes a radio show successful

Jamie Morrison – Work Experience Student, Life in Magazines

I really enjoyed being on the 1230 TWC Business Beat Radio Show and it was a truly valuable opportunity for me as a work experience student. Not only was it a way for me to learn what it’s like being on a radio show, it was a way for me to meet some incredible people, particularly Jackie herself. She was really friendly and bubbly, and made me feel like I was right at home. Thank you to the whole team and I hope I’ll be able to appear on the show again in the future.

Zackaray Osmond – Work Experience Student, Life in Magazines

I really enjoyed being on Jackie’s show! I quite forgot I was on the radio as Jackie made the whole experience seem more akin to a gathering of friends. It was great to talk about the Friends of Betts Park, local history, and reminisce about my days at Radio W963. I would love to appear on Jackie’s show again.

Amanda Wright – Chair, Friends of Betts Park

Thank you, Jackie, for inviting us to your show. It was wonderful to chat with you about the work Friends of Betts Park are doing in Anerley, and discuss the importance of open spaces to everyone in our community. And, I must add, it was great to meet the truly inspirational Chris Tuck! We look forward to welcoming on a tour of Betts Park one day.

Alan Pottinger – Secretary, Friends of Betts Park

Being part of the 1230 TWC Radio panel discussion was a truly meaningful and impactful experience. It was inspiring to connect with fellow coaches and creative minds and reflect on our professional experiences, our clients’ journeys, and our own personal growth.

A key message that emerged was that coaching, mental health support, and creativity all share a common purpose ….helping people move forward, find balance, gain clarity, and improve their overall wellbeing.

Jackie was a fantastic host who guided the conversation with warmth and professionalism, ensuring everyone had the space to share their insights, knowledge, and personal stories. Thank you, Jackie and 1230 TWC Radio, for providing such a valuable platform for these important conversations.

Bhavya Arora – Forward Focus London

Jackie was really friendly and kind, I’d never been on the radio before but she made me feel really comfortable like it was no big deal.

The studio was tidy and spacious, it was easy to see what was going on and how everything worked.

The day I was there we had a mix of in-house guests and Zoom guests, which Jackie incorporated seamlessly. It felt like we were all in the room together, and Jackie made sure that everyone had equal airtime and had the chance to say what they wanted to.

It was a fun day and not at all daunting! I’d do it again.

I really enjoyed my first radio talk as guest at the TWC. Jackie is a brilliant Host and makes you comfortable throughout the session. Really liked the way she balanced the conversations and making us all involved in each other’s industries. Thank you Jackie and the team xx

Pam Sithole – KnuSkin Ltd

I’ve really enjoyed being part of the 12:30 Radio Show community, both as a regular guest and as a listener.

What makes it special is the genuinely supportive atmosphere. It’s not just another business show where people talk at each other — it feels much more like a real conversation between women who understand the realities of running a business.

I’ve made some lovely connections for KoffeeKlatch through the show, discovered interesting businesses and ideas, and always come away feeling energised and encouraged. As a guest, it’s a welcoming space to share experiences and insights. As a listener, it’s inspiring to hear other women’s stories, challenges, and successes.

The warmth and sense of community really come across, and that’s something quite rare.

Annabel Kaye – KoffeeKlatch Ltd

It felt like I was having a chat with great friends! Jackie made me feel at ease with her down-to-earth, gentle good humour. And the chat just flowed with other guests too. Thanks for your warm invite and supportive and encouraging reaction to the work of wildlife conservation charity Wildlife SOS.

Linda Whiteley – Wildlife SOS

It was a privilege to represent TenIntelligence on Love Da Beat Radio! Thank you to Jackie for inviting me. Jackie was a fantastic host, she allowed all the speakers to get involved, and gave an equal opportunity to allow people to have a say, when they felt it was appropriate. It was also lovely for her to give the opportunity to showcase expertise and business solutions, as we discussed in the podcast, sometimes we have so many ideas, but they are never materialised or executed, therefore, it’s valuable that Jackie invites people who have materialised their ideas to encourage the wider audience.

Megan Nicol – TenIntelligence

I appeared on the show with two other guests along with the lovely Jackie, who made us all feel very welcome and the conversation flowed and I appreciated being able to talk about my small business but I also learnt a lot from the other guests too. Thank you for having me.

Karen Burke – Go-Goosey

What a wonderful experience we had on your show and what amazing guests. Jackie made us feel welcome and led the conversation so easily the afternoon flew by. How lovely to be invited and to be with such powerful amazing women . x

Kren Britton – Penge Lunch Club

It was an absolute pleasure to be a guest on Business Beat on Love Da Beat Radio. The format felt relaxed and conversational, which made it so easy to share my journey alongside the other brilliant guests featured on the programme. There was a real sense of support and collaboration in the room. Jackie is a lovely host — warm, welcoming and genuinely interested in her guests — which creates such a natural flow to the discussion. I’m so grateful to have been part of it and would happily return in the future

Erica Haslam – Stage Door Tours

Thank you Jackie for inviting me on your radio show – what an interesting experience. I knew from chatting with Jackie that she was going to make me feel welcome and comfortable whilst doing this. It was way out of my comfort zone but who can resist an invitation to do live radio! Met some really interesting people and it beats sitting at your desk on a rainy Monday afternoon.

Nary Elder – Sevenoaks Part Timers

It was an absolute pleasure to be invited onto Jackie Groundsell’s 12.30 TWC Business Beat Radio Show. Jackie has a wonderful way of putting her guests at ease, creating a relaxed yet professional space to share business journeys, passions and purpose. I loved the opportunity to talk about the story behind Salt & Slate, our passion for flavour, and the importance of relationships and collaboration within our industry. The show is a fantastic platform for shining a light on businesses and the people behind them, and Jackie’s warmth, experience and genuine interest make it a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you, Jackie, for championing business in such an engaging and supportive way I honestly enjoyed every minute.

Janet Vincent Salt and Slate Events Catering

Relly enjoyed the afternoon chat with such interesting guests

Colin Hughes – Strawberry Jazz

Jackie’s radio show is always an absolute joy to be part of. She has a real talent for putting guests at ease, keeping the conversation flowing and making every interview feel relaxed, engaging and genuinely enjoyable. No two shows are ever the same – her variety of guests and light-hearted approach create a great energy that really comes through on air. I’ve been lucky enough to join her on a number of occasions, and each time has been a brilliant experience.

Lauretta Wright – Life in Magazines / ABBBAs

I had a lovely afternoon spending time with Jackie and being interviewed on the 1230 Business Beat Radio Show. She is such a warm host and it was such a delight to be a guest on the show. I really enjoyed Jackie’s style of presenting and how she is interested in so many aspects of business, seamlessly intertwining the business and personal. She has a really deep understanding of small businesses. I really felt valued and listened to during my interview and so appreciate being able to talk with Jackie at depth about life, wellbeing and mental health (and, of course her hair). Thank you Jackie for having me as your guest.

Celia Griver – Blossom Hypnotherapy

It was a pleasure to catch up with Jackie and share some thoughts and ideas during this conversation. I particularly enjoyed the free-flowing nature of the conversation; it was more of a chat than an interview, and I hope that made it more interesting for the listeners, too.

Andy Lopata

Great fun. Jackie was a top host and we discussed music and life with the legend that is The Queen Of Northern Soul, Gloria Jones.

Paul Mawdesley – paulRevolution Recordsm

I am new to being interviewed and it was great to have this interview run by Jackie, who I have known for 20 years and who is always so kind and positive, chilled and welcoming! A warm welcome, a simple setup, and comfortable chair, and all of this really calmed my nerves. I thought that 2 hours would feel like a long time, but in fact it flew by! It was actually really nice to be the subject of the interview. In my line of work, which in essence is “revealing unique greatness through design and communication,” I am the one doing the discovery and asking the questions!

KKeren Lerner – Top Left Design

Thanks to Jackie for inviting me onto the radio show on 15th September. I wasn’t sure what to expect as a ‘first timer!’. But Jackie is a ‘radio pro’ and although it was the first time we had met and I felt like I had known Jackie forever by the time we wrapped up. It was relaxed and fun. It was lovely, and always important to me, to be able to share the journey of Westmeria Counselling Services Charity. Jackie is amazing with connecting people and meeting Anna Kennedy on air was inspiring too. Jackie was kind enough to call us both inspirational women and Jackie is absolutely that herself. Well done Jackie and 1230TWC.

Sue Doughty – Westmeria Counselling Services

I had the pleasure of being a guest on 01 September 2025 with the amazing Jackie.

I joined Jackie to talk about my book (Queen, Get your Mojo Back) and also my business journey and especially the award nomination “London Local Business Excellence Awards” –we also touched on our upcoming projects etc.

It was such a great conversation. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire podcast. It just felt like a casual conversation.  I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my story and ideas with her audience. Thank you Jackie for giving me the opportunity. It highly appreciated

Noelle Mapianda – Businesswomen Circle Ltd

Thanks to Jackie Groundsell for inviting me as a guest on her radio show 1230 TWC Business Beat on Monday, 18th August 2025. Jackie is a great host and I truly enjoyed our conversation discussing a wide range of topics including skills, labour market, education, employment and enterprise. Jackie lives what she preaches, collaboration, connection and community. We actually met at a networking event held at Goldsmiths University of London earlier in the year where Jackie volunteered some of her valuable time to help computing students looking to explore opportunities and learn about the world of work. Jackie you are an inspiration, and thank you for all the incredible work you do within your community and beyond.

Femi Yusoof – Goldsmiths University of London

It was a fun 2 hours with laughter which just flew by. Jackie made us feel relaxed and delved into our Utility Warehouse business by asking interesting question and participating in the discussions. Jackie’s other guest Gloria Jones was captivating and has such a fascinating life. All in all a great experience

Jenny & Phil Groom – Utility Warehouse

It was such a brilliant experience being on Jackie’s radio show. I was on with another fantastic guest and it honestly just felt like chatting with friends. I really enjoyed sharing my Boogie Tots journey with like-minded women and Jackie made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. I’d definitely recommend the experience to others and I’d gladly go on again if invited.

Sammie Searle – Boogie Tots

What a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable experience it was to be a guest on the TWC Business Beat Radio on April 28th. Jackie was on great form as I knew she would be given she is a consummate professional. She asked a range of questions but made it feel very conversational. It felt very much like I was having a laid back conversation with an old friend over a coffee and I hope this ‘flavour’ comes across in the final recording. Jackie managed all the techie radio stuff whilst simultaneously keeping the conversation flowing. It really was a pleasure to be part of the show and I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to benefit from the publicity it will generate.

Fredd StGeorge MBE –Raring2go!

Being a guest on Jackie’s radio show has become one of my favourite ways to share business insights. I’ve returned multiple times because Jackie naturally makes you feel like you’re just having a relaxed chat over coffee, rather than being ‘on air.’

What keeps me coming back isn’t just her warm hosting style, but also the fascinating mix of guests she brings together – there’s always something new to learn! If you’re thinking about appearing on her show, trust me, you’ll feel right at home from the moment you start chatting

Tracy Irwin – Time Freedom Alchemist

Being a guest on the 1230 TWC Radio Show is always a pleasure. Jackie creates such a welcoming space to share stories, ideas and experiences. It’s not just a conversation — it’s also a great networking opportunity with other inspiring speakers. Jackie consistently brings together thought-provoking topics and fascinating guests, which makes every show something to look forward to.

Ali Meehan – Business Coach & Costa Women

It was great to be part of the menopause gang discussions. I was very nervous at first but Jackie and the other guests quickly put me at ease!

Dr Patsy Rogers

h my goodness, it was a magnificent time well spent, the world truly is a small world. The whole conversation reminded me of why yoga is not activity you only practice on the mat. Listening to Vicky (ladybugpestcontrol.co.uk) reminded me of being conscious with everything you do in life and viewing everything as part of you. My takeaway of the day was gentleness, peace of mind, sweetness of the heart, purity in how you carry on when working whether with pests or humans is a beautiful experience. So thank you to the Queen of Connections for the grandest set up for yoga and pest control.

Shamim Sarah – Sha Kali Yoga Ltd

I had a wonderful time in my first radio appearance with 1230TWC radio! Jackie is a great host, and I had the privilege of meeting two other amazing business women: We shared a lot of common ground and enjoyed and a lovely conversation. Thank you for inviting me to take part.
