What Happens at Meetings?

On entering the venue you’ll be greeted by the 1230 TWC Host.

You’ll then be introduced to someone of your choice and/or an existing member of 1230 TWC.

We are very pleased to be continually complimented on the warm welcome extended to all who attend our networking meetings and events.

After a short while the Host welcomes everyone and provides updates on 1230 TWC news; she will also give an outline of what will take place during the remainder of the meeting.

Everyone has an opportunity to deliver a one-minute talk.  We time each talk so as not to devalue the 10 mins (Take10) that a Member may take up at a meeting.

Each month one Member has the opportunity to arrange with the Host to deliver a 10 minutes talk and a maximum of 2 members can take advantage of a table display of their products or literature.

The food will be provided at a convenient time during the meeting.  Depending on the venue, this maybe a buffet or seated meal.  If seated then the Host will at suitable time ask everyone to change places to maximise on networking opportunities for everyone.

Time is allowed for occasional Guest Speakers, and any taster workshops pre the meeting are always free.

The meetings are always fun, relaxed and informal but productive, finishing officially at 2.00 pm;  our venues are always flexible for people to continue networking after this time if they wish and we often find we’re still there at 3.30 pm!  Equally if you are on a deadline, this will be taken into consideration – please just advise our Host.

Everyone leaves on a high of having made new contacts, shared advice and expertise, swapped stories and valuable business knowledge.

1230 TWC Rocks!
I have been a member of 1230 since January of this year. I do a lot of networking but what I particularly like about 1230 TWC is that we are a group of like-minded business women, running a wide variety of  businesses but able to help each other with any issues or concerns that we may have, whether that be advertising, marketing, staffing issues…

We have also done a lot of social media training – arranged prior to meetings, which has been very useful.  To anyone wondering about whether or not to join I suggest you go along to a local meeting and see for yourself the great benefits to be had.  Michele Cole, WPA , private medical insurance.
