Fantastic Week!

What an exciting week! I met with Kubi Springer of www.sisterhoodtv.com – her company is coming to film and interview at 1230 AOB? on 16 March for Sky TV

The following day an EWIF (Encouraging Women Into Franchising) meeting where lots of decisions made on how to support women in franchising more widely. That was in Cobham, then dashed over to EAST GRINSTEAD for the 1230 TWC meeting there. The drive took me longer than anticipated but Christine Wise of Utility Warehouse brilliantly stepped in for me. Such a buzz of business.

The following day I headed the 1230 TWC King’s Hill meeting and met even more vibrant women entrepreneurs, all the diaries came out for booking meetings with each other.

Little bit of a rest in the evening when I took part in Karen Purves “Lead Magnets” tele-seminar so the “rest” was short lived as I wrote down her every word – well worth doing, would strongly recommend everyone to look at Karen’s site for training – www.getmoreclients.com

BECKENHAM meeting also took place this week, unfortunately I couldn’t be there but they had a brilliant meeting despite that!

Training today with Rebecca Sell who is new Manager for 1230 TWC Tunbridge Wells, launch date on 24 February.

Very much looking forward to the 1230 TWC CROYDON meeting on Saturday 13 February with Manager Julia Thompson.

Also, looking forward to the launch of 1230 TWC BRISTOL, on 2 March with Alex Morgan, and 17 March sees the launch of 1230 OLNEY (Bucks) with Michelle Rowe….

You are what you think !

In the field of health care, new, powerful movements are taking place. Latest scientific discoveries are now proving that we are not passive in terms of creating health and well-being; we are active creators in the process. With this knowledge, taking responsibility for our health can reap great benefits.
There is a movement away from seeing good health as a lottery; with our lives pre-determined by the genes we inherit. I believe that this is a crucial development as we are now being encouraged to look at creating health, rather than avoiding illness.
The mind-body link has been scientifically proven. When the neuroscientist, Dr Candace Pert, discovered the natural opiate endorphin sites in the brain, she proved that mind and body are inextricably linked in the creation of health and well-being. It is not she says ‘’a question of mind over matter, but mind actually making matter.”
To put it in simple terms: the quality of our thoughts and feelings have a direct impact on our body chemistry and ultimately our health
As a Holistic Life Coach, I work with clients to enable them to make effective life choices, enrich their relationships, create greater health and well-being and effect these positive changes in their lives

Nothing’ s more important than your health

This week in the bad weather I have been calling in on one of my elderly neighbours to see if she needed any shopping when I was going to the supermarket.I’m in there at least once a day as I have two teenage boys.

She is in her late seventies and suffers from arthritis, my mother is in her late eighties and has no real health problems at all. My neighbour said to me this morning with great feeling, “I don’t care what people say, nothing’s more important than your health. You can have all the money in the world, but if you don’t have your health you can’t enjoy it”.

We all should be aware that a lot of our problems in old age start with not taking care of ourselves when we are younger.
