In the field of health care, new, powerful movements are taking place. Latest scientific discoveries are now proving that we are not passive in terms of creating health and well-being; we are active creators in the process. With this knowledge, taking responsibility for our health can reap great benefits.
There is a movement away from seeing good health as a lottery; with our lives pre-determined by the genes we inherit. I believe that this is a crucial development as we are now being encouraged to look at creating health, rather than avoiding illness.
The mind-body link has been scientifically proven. When the neuroscientist, Dr Candace Pert, discovered the natural opiate endorphin sites in the brain, she proved that mind and body are inextricably linked in the creation of health and well-being. It is not she says ‘’a question of mind over matter, but mind actually making matter.”
To put it in simple terms: the quality of our thoughts and feelings have a direct impact on our body chemistry and ultimately our health
As a Holistic Life Coach, I work with clients to enable them to make effective life choices, enrich their relationships, create greater health and well-being and effect these positive changes in their lives

This week in the bad weather I have been calling in on one of my elderly neighbours to see if she needed any shopping when I was going to the supermarket.I’m in there at least once a day as I have two teenage boys.
She is in her late seventies and suffers from arthritis, my mother is in her late eighties and has no real health problems at all. My neighbour said to me this morning with great feeling, “I don’t care what people say, nothing’s more important than your health. You can have all the money in the world, but if you don’t have your health you can’t enjoy it”.
We all should be aware that a lot of our problems in old age start with not taking care of ourselves when we are younger.

Thinking how I can help 1230 TWC Members with some pampering. It can be a slow time of year for some so remember a bit of MOMO pampering would always go down a treat to pick yourself up!
I’m offering a 20% discount to all new clients who book in January so hurry hurry!
Looking forward to seeing everyone at 1230 AOB? in the Beauty Spot – don’t forget to book!

We will be discussing energy and how it affects our body, and ways in which we can help our energy levels through the many phases in a woman’s life, from puberty up to menopause and beyond. Demonstrations and trials of a unique supplement for the menopause will be on hand, so why not join us and get informed!

Great day – I was lucky enough to be introduced to 1230 member Katherine Burr from Moveover Makeover and have become one of her satisfied customers. So much so that I have purchased her gift vouchers for two of my friends for Christmas presents for manicures or any other treatments from Katherine’s treatment menu.

I went to my second meeting today, as a guest and joined the company tonight, and am really excited about it.
The Swindon group, which I have joined is just lovely, and I am so looking forward to getting to know the other members better.
If there are any more self employed Personal Trainers out there, please get in touch and let me know how you are doing in your particular 1230 TWC group.
