Looking forward to delivering presentation at 1230 TWC Esher meeting Tuesday, hearing Karen Davis of Be-Fabulous on Thursday at 1230 TWC Mayfair and am excited to be putting the finishing touches to next year’s Annual Conference – Early Bird prices and further details by the end of the week.

Jane Kenyon and Well Heeled Divas

I have just come back from a fantastic one day course with Jane and 10 other divas in Manchester. I first met Jane at her introduction to Well Heeled Divas (Diva Kickstart) in London, recently having spoken to her first on the phone. I had a great time yesterday, learnt lot, just going through my 3 goals and what I have to do this week to make them a little closer to being achieved, thanks Jane.

compassion with a firm hand

Today at the Financial Mail Women’s Forum, I was totally inspired by the compassion and understanding of Sue Saunders as she spoke about her role as Governor of Her Majesty’s Prison and Young offenders Institution Holloway.

Some of the shocking statistics that Sue shared with us – Did you know that within the past 12 months there has been a 94% increase of women in prisons, 40% are violent, 80% are drug users, 58% are under 30 years old, 84% left school by the age of 16, 50% are the victims of domestic violence, many of whom are sexually abused and 30% self-harm and are on suicide watch.

face lift massage

I am very excited (and intrigued) to be going on a course this Thursday to learn the techniques involved in Ayurvedic Face Lift Massage. I really hope it is effective and of course will let you know. If you fancy a treatment then please do email or phone me

Well Done for Magical Moments Evening

Well Done Jackie and Penny for organising the Magical Moments event in London last Friday you both worked so hard to make it an incredible evening. The Frank Usher Fashion show was wonderful and Jenny Agutter complimented the evening beautifully. The Magician Matthew Duggan was fantastic with his slight of hand magic tricks, rounding off the evening with fabulous views of the sun set from the 37th floor of Canary Wharf Tower and hopefully raising a large sum of money for Ovacome.

Martinis and Manicures

Moveover Makeover was booked to provide the mini manicures at a client party last night for REVEAL Magazine… This might be something other 1230 members want to consider for the run up to Christmas – it’s a great way to get together with friends, clients, customers- you name it! and don’t forget MoMo is currently offering a 10% discount on all bookings during September!

I’m also really excited about the Macmillan Cancer Care Coffee Morning which is this Friday…Not to mention 1230 Magical Moments…see you all there loaded with business cards and leaflets!

Swindon Rocks!

… with the vibrancy of business women who attended the inaugural 1230 TWC Swindon meeting held in the World Restaurant, Havelock Square on Thursday. A diverse mix of businesses, we were thrilled that in her busy schedule Anne Snelgrove MP a huge supporter of business women was able to join us. Congratulations Alex on adding another jewel in your 1230 TWC Wiltshire crown! And congratulations too to the restaurant for providing an excellent meal with all the technical supported required for our presentation too.

See you next month!

Wimbledon has a great guest speaker on Monday 21 Sept!

Whoo! What a busy few months it’s been. I am really excited about this coming Monday (21 September) as Azmina Jiwa will be speaking on her favourite topic – Happiness!

I had the very good fortune to see Azmina in action a few weeks ago; she is a very entertaining and enlightening speaker and passionate about her work as a Happiness Coach.

So if you are finding that you aren’t laughing as much as you would like, why not come along and join us at Piaf-on-the-Hill (Wimbledon) this Monday, 21st September?

I am feeling happy already!!!

Making The Coffee Count

Next Friday is the proposed date for the worlds biggest coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. I am really excited to be attending one and offering mini manicures to all our guests!

Just a little reminder, it’s a great way to get people talking and exchanging ideas or business numbers – so join in and hold your coffee morning for your good deed of the day and remember you can always call on me for a helping hand to make yours different- not just next Friday- Whenever!!

Then it’ll be off to 1230 Magical Moments in a frock!
