Melissa and Anna, two Outreach Police Officers will talk about the different pathways into Policing. Information will be shared regarding qualifications required and the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship where new recruits work towards a fully funded Degree will be covered.

Carrie Eddins has been chatting to people has ever since she was a child; it has always been something that came naturally to her, and nothing has changed. Carrie still loves a good natter with well pretty much anyone, anytime, anyplace and anywhere:) She has always been able to reach into people’s hearts and feel what they are feeling. She knows if they are speaking truthfully or not.
It took her a long time to realise that this was actually a huge gift in business and for her to have the courage to take this gift seriously and bring it to market in her business. She has spent a long time trying to be someone who she was not, and it is only quite recently that she has come out with her gifts proudly, and even set up a company called: ‘The Blondepreneur Ltd,’ honouring her creativity, her light-heartedness, her sensitivity and her innate entrepreneurialism .
Now she gets paid to reach into people’s hearts for a living and to help people to express themselves fully and share their hearts with the world through their business, as Carrie believes in the power of their business heart to create emotional connection with their audience and she does this through her deep, and unique processes called ‘ SpiritualPR™,’ and the Flawed Heroine™.
Carrie adores what she does and sometimes can find it tricky to switch off, so a walk in the woods with her loved ones, a hot bath, a rom com or, of course, a heartfelt natter and a giggle over tea and cake helps her to relax and detach from her work. Her favourite form of transport is a train, so she loves just sitting and chatting to people on trains too.
At heart, Carrie is an animal lover, and has been a vegetarian for most of her life and is now a committed vegan. She loves learning about how to make the world a better place, and is especially inspired by people doing things to reduce waste, especially in the oceans around the world. BOOK NOW

Business Essentials
Two fundamental topics – in one day!
Every business owner needs connections, otherwise who knows about you, your business? So the answer to “Must I?” is a resounding – Yes! Turning up just isn’t enough. You need to make the most of your time there, whether this is online or offline – after all, your time is money, . And then what do you do with those connections after the event? Just move on to another event? Or?
The day is packed with essentials to help you make those connections and love those connections – the gold of your business.
Trainer for the day is Jackie Groundsell. Not only qualified by certification but also by experience. With 24+ years running her own businesses , Jackie is not only an experienced business owner, she’s also a bit IT savvy (CertEd FE). She is also said to have been networking since birth!

During the first session of the day, Jackie will share her Networking expertise and hard-earned first-class Tips. Leaving you set for the challenges of your next networking event in a far better place. At ease and rewarded by the success of “getting it right” and not just coming away with a pile of business cards that sit on the corner of your desk, unloved, for several months.
EXCEL
Which leads nicely onto the second session of the day. Exactly what do you do with those business cards after networking, or even the notes from your notebook? Excel is famous for its “number crunching”. Bring along your laptop and charger for this hands-on session of building a database that can be used forever with your business, but will also upload well into other software as and when needed.

Most people know that Excel is for “number crunching”. Today you’ll use other Excel features and benefits to save you time – time is money!
During this 2.5 hours session, you will:
- Build your own database that can stand alone, or be uploaded to other programs
- Create personalised emails
- Create personalised hard-copy letters
- Produce labels (in time for Christmas cards!)
and much more, with just the tap of a key.
If you have a pile of business cards from all that networking, bring them along to this session to save yourself even more time later.
