How I came to be an image consultant, a career I am so passionate about.
I have always had a great interest in fashion, health, beauty and wellbeing. My career began as a hair stylist in London’s Berkeley Square.
After having my 3 children I moved into designing and making children’s clothing. Sewing and being creative is a passion of mine. I started dressmaking for friends and family and found the right fit and style had a huge impact on how the person felt about themselves.
For the last 7 years I have been working in retail as a personal shopper, dressing clients, for every type of occasion, casual or formal. There is nothing I love more than seeing clients happy and satisfied when leaving the store.
I decided to take my passion further with a professional qualification as an image consultant with “First Impressions”, exploring the world of image.
It gives me so much joy seeing the client leaving the consultation with new found confidence, knowing how to dress to project the image they desire, with the tools and knowledge to go out and shop for clothing, make-up and accessories to enhance their new look.
As a member of “The Federation of Image Consultants” I regularly attend fashion shows, seminars, and forums, sharing information with my colleagues within the industry.
