I have a long-standing practice of Yoga & Mediation. I have been practising Meditation for nearly 20 years and Yoga for 10 years. I take inspiration from many forms & traditions, including Buddhism, Ashtanga, Vinyassa Flow, Forest, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, & Meditation.
My Tibetan Buddhist teacher Geshe Tashi Tsering is one of the most senior Tibetan Lamas in the UK. Geshe Tashi studied in the lineage of the Dalai Lama, and has been spiritual envoy and translator for His Holiness Dalai Lama in the UK and Europe on many occasions. (more here…)
I teach my classes from the heart, weaving themes of philosophical guidance into the physical challenges. I take great inspiration from all of my wonderful teachers, & hopefully that knowledge & skill can be passed on during classes.
Some of my other current Mentors include Meriel Angharad (Breeze Yoga) & renowned International Yogi Elena Brower (YogaGlo), as well as Norman Blair.
I believe Yoga is about creating space, physically, emotionally & mentally. We come to Yoga for many different reasons.
The magic of Yoga is that it meets you exactly where you are.
My intention in teaching is to create space & act as a guide for you to pause & breathe on the mat. My hope is for us to carry this spaciousness off the mat & back into our own life, to our friends, family & community.
