Marked annually on the 8 March, and observed since the early 1900s, International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day which has grown through the years extending over the whole of March with events marking women’s achievements.

2011 saw the 100-year centenary of IWD. More details of its history can be found HERE.

This year, each 1230 TWC group celebrates in a slightly different way – with one constant – businesswomen who have come together to celebrate their own and each other’s achievements; to grow those connections and develop long-standing, strong business relationships, and to have fun
