Jane Knight

Jane founded Successful Mums with a mission to support all mums no matter their circumstances; delivering hope there is a new career or a new business – and a new you – as a mum.

With a background of teaching, coaching and funding Jane has heaps of experience working with a range of women looking for career advice. Having previously run training programmes and women returner days for corporates, community partners

and specialist women’s organisations (including HM Prison), inclusivity remains at the core of the Academy.

Jane has been commissioned on a number of occasions to advise government career advisors. Working across industries she has a wide experience of different skill sets needed across sectors. Co-chair of the South East Local Enterprise Partnership and a contributor to a number of Ofqual organisations, Jane is able to share her experience of working with women returners, and the challenges they face, to influence policy at government level to make change for women looking for flexible work.

Jane Horwood

Jane set up Catfish Web Design in 1999 and has been designing and developing websites since then. Wide variety of jobs in the past including her own clothing business in the 80s (Mama Oclo), running a fringe theatre in London, cook in a small restaurant, painter and decorator. At the beginning of the pandemic Jane started making facemasks, a venture which soon involved a team of volunteers. They made over 10,000 masks and raised £40,000 for NHS Charities Together.

1230 TWC Business Beat Radio focuses on entertaining and supporting entrepreneurial businesswomen and aspiring. And, of course, guys are very welcome too! Whilst based locally (south-east London) the reach is global and will support and include businesswomen across the world with current, relevant items and music.
