Burgh Island
Can highly recommend a trip to Burgh Island in Devon and a visit to the Pilchard Inn via the tractor across the sand. Burgh Island was the site for two of Agatha Christie’s plays and she stayed there in the 1930s along with many of the rich and famous and royalty. Nowadays lunch with a cocktail before in the restored art deco “White Palace” is affordable and a great experience.
